Airborne’s ever inspiring founder, Luke, is raising money to support Mollie, who is 5 years old and lives with Cerebral Palsy. His aim is to raise £6,000 for a powered wheelchair to totally transform her life. Luke will embark on this massive challenge in March 2019.
Mollie was born at 27 weeks and 6 days and spent the first three months of her life in a special care unit. As a result of the complications from her premature birth, Mollie has lived with cerebral Palsy ever since. The life-long condition limits her movement and coordination and Mollie has never been able to walk. As you can imagine, this is heart-breaking for Mollie’s family, especially her parents, Callum and Sarah. Mollie’s Uncle, Luke Read, is on a mission to raise the funds needed to buy a Tiny Trax wheelchair which will give Mollie the freedom she has sadly never experienced.
19 days, 1,000 miles and one of the hardest challenges he will ever have taken on, Luke will run 100 miles, cycle 875 miles and kayak 25 miles across the country, from Land’s End to John O’ Groats.
If you would like to get behind Luke and support him on his mission please follow the link below to donate. Any amount will be gratefully appreciated! Please like our facebook page for updates on the challenge!
